idle-python3.4 software package provides IDE for Python (v3.4) using Tkinter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install idle-python3.4
idle-python3.4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the idle-python3.4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep idle-python3.4 *
You will get with idle-python3.4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
